November - a Time for Thanks

Many things are going on this month! On the 10th Independence State Farm Agents are partnering with the Community Blood Center for a blood donations. Their supply is dangerously low. See our posts on Facebook for more information. To support our Veterans this year we partnered with Operation Gratitude to provide letters of thanks and support from people in our communities. And of course, Thanksgiving will be here before we know it. I don't know about you, but I have much to be thankful for with all that has happened this year. I'm working hard to be grateful for the health and happiness of all those close to me.

Office update regarding COVID-19

Our office is OPEN! We are taking precautions to keep ourselves and our customers safe. We can handle many of your needs over the phone, but are happy to schedule in-office appointments to answer your questions and take care of your insurance and financial needs. We do ask that if you are feeling ill or think you may have come in contact with someone with COVID-19 to allow us to take care of you over the phone rather than in the office. As of July 1st, Jackson County now requires face masks to be worn in public. If you are coming in to the office, we ask you to bring a mask to comply with this requirement.

Recent examples of helping our customers

State Farm offered our auto policyholders flexibility in payments during the COVID-19 crisis. Our Good Neighbor Relief Program was announced recently, which will begin applying policy credits to those who had auto insurance protection in place between March 20 - May 31st. These credits will begin applying around July this year and continue through 2020 based on policy renewal billing. Local Independence MO agents combined together and made a donation of $10,500 to the local Community Services League to help local families with food and personal items they have needed during this crisis.
